Refund policy

Return Time Span

Within 30 Days (Hard goods, does not include live plants)

  • Applicable UNOPENED merchandise may be returned with a receipt for a full refund.

  • Online Orders: 30 days will begin once the package has arrived.

Within 7 Days

  • Perennials, Trees, and Shrubs that are purchased in-store

  • Must not have been discounted or on sale

  • Must not have been planted, and still be in the original container

  • Must be in the same saleable condition as it was sold

Within 24 Hours

  • Annuals, bouquets, houseplants, seasonal plants, vegetable and herb plants, and all other plants that are not perennials, trees, and shrubs, purchased in-store 

  • Must not have been discounted or on sale

  • Must not have been planted, and still be in the original container

  • Must be in the same saleable condition as it was sold

No Returns After 30 Days | Holiday Items (Includes the following but not limited to: Valentine’s Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fall Items, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  No Returns After 15 Days

No Returns on Christmas Items after the second Friday in December


Guidelines For Returns

We Do Not Accept Any Returns On:

  • Gift Cards

  • Cut or Opened Merchandise

  • Items Damaged from Misuse

  • Sanitary Items

  • Services

  • Special Orders

  • Non-sealed Chemicals

  • Custom Arrangements 

  • Clearance Merchandise - All clearance items, sale items, and discount items are  final sale, non-refundable.

Defective Items

  • Varied based on manufacturer warranty.


Restocking Fees

  • A 5% Restocking Fee will be applied to all returned assembled or floor model patio furniture, grills, fountains and statuary, etc. Open Christmas Tree boxes are also subject to the 5% stocking fee if purchased and returned by the Christmas return cut-off date.

  • A $5 Restocking Fee will be applied to online pick-up orders not collected within a specified timeframe. See the Online Orders for Store-Pick Up & Plant Pre-Orders section as stated above.


Holiday & Christmas Items

  • Final sale on Christmas Décor after 15 days of purchase or after the second Friday in December. Whichever comes first. 

  • If the item is discounted it is final sale.

  • No returns on Christmas items 15 Days after purchase.

  • Christmas Décor with a Gift Receipt will be issued as In-Store Credit.

  • Opened Christmas Lights may be exchanged or returned as In-Store Credit.

  • Defective Christmas Lights will be exchanged for identical item only. A store credit may be issued if an identical item is unavailable.


$10 Restocking Fee for Unclaimed Pick-Up Orders

Plant Pick-Up Orders

We will hold plant pick-up orders for 24 hours. If not picked up within 24 hours, we will refund the items, minus a $10 re-stocking fee.

Hardgood Pick-Up Orders

We will hold products for 5 days. If not picked up within 5 days, we will refund the items, minus a $10 re-stocking fee.

Sunny Valley processes approved returns within 1-2 business days. Once the refund has been issued it may take several days for funds to arrive back to your account as detailed below:

 


 

Shipped Orders:

  • If Items Arrive Damaged: Please start by e-mailing us as soon as possible at Contactus@sunnyvf.com with your order information. Please include photos of the damage upon arrival. We'll contact you to either replace or refund the item.

  • If Change of Heart: Most unopened and unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. (See below for additional details regarding returns.) Return shipping costs apply to the customer. The transaction will be refunded upon arrival to the store, minus any shipping fees.

Lost or Stolen Orders

Lost or Stuck in Transit: If a tracking code has been created for your order, and is lost or stuck in transit, please start by contacting the carrier.  A claim may need to be filed if your order contains live goods that perish, in order to process refunds or replacements.

 


 

Stolen Packages: Sunny Valley Farms is not responsible for stolen packages if the delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.


Plant Orders

Sunny Valley Farms sends the best quality plants available and are carefully packaged in custom plant shipping boxes. We can guarantee that the plant order left in pristine condition, but sometimes third-party carriers and other natural elements may cause some damage. Remember, some plant stress is normal from shipping. However, if a plant item arrives broken or dead, please let us know as soon as possible by sending us an email at contactus@sunnyvf.com. We will require that you send photos of the damage on arrival (before planting) so that we can determine if a refund or a replacement will be authorized.

Sunny Valley Farms does not warrant or guarantee the life of shipped live plants, due to a variety of possible factors (watering, weather, etc.) We can only guarantee that they arrived in good condition.


Returns By Tender

If Paid by Credit Card:

Returns paid by credit card will be given credit back on same card used if shown original itemized receipt. This includes debit cards processed as credit. Please give 3-5 days for funds to arrive on your account.

If Paid by Debit Card

Returns paid by debit card may receive cash back, if processed as debit. Please give 3-5 days for funds to arrive on your account.

If Paid by Gift Certificate or In-Store Credit: 

Returns paid by gift certificate or store credit will be issued an in-store credit only.
